Sage Roasted Pears with Bacon & Rosemary

Roasted pears in our lovely Greek Sage Olive Oil, with rosemary, honey and bacon. Can it get any better than this? Herbaceous, pleasantly sweet and just plain comforting. This recipe is perfection for any autumn meal, or a Thanksgiving side dish!
 4 tbsp Oliva! Greek Sage Olive Oil
 2 tbsp Oliva! Elderflower White Balsamic
 4 ripe pears, quartered and cored
 ½ cup bacon lardons
 1 tbsp rosemary sprigs
 1 tbsp Bee Hollow Farms Raw Spring Wildflower Honey
 salt and pepper

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

Place pears, flat side down on a roasting pan.

Add the Oliva! Sage Olive Oil, Oliva! Elderflower White Balsamic, Bee Hollow Farms Honey, season with salt and pepper and toss.

Sprinkle bacon lardons and rosemary sprigs evenly across the top of the pears.

Bake for about 40 minutes, or until the pears are tender.

Finish the dish with a final drizzle of Sage Olive Oil, serve immediately and enjoy!
