Our Balsamic Fig Mostarda Spread is a combination of sweet figs, raisins and fresh pears simmered in a balsamic reduction with a touch of hot mustard oil for spice.

Ideal for cheese pairings and charcuterie boards and makes a great housewarming or party gift. Spoon over ham, chicken, pork for a great fig balsamic glaze with a hint of hot mustard.

Try on homemade pizza with pears, arugula and goat cheese. Add a tablespoon to your pan sauce for meat!

What is a Mostarda? A Mostarda is also known as mostarda di frutta, a Northern Italian condiment made with fruits in a mustard syrup.  This mostarda is made by cooking figs and pears in a balsamic reduction syrup and using pure mustard oil rather than just mustard seed to give this condiment it’s spicy finish.  It is rare to find a US produced mostarda that actually still uses pure mustard oil and Wozz! is proud to offer such a delicacy!

The Balsamic Fig Mostarda Spread was awarded the NYC sofi SILVER award at the 2017 NYC Fancy Food Show for outstanding condiment.

Ingredients: Fresh pears, brown sugar, organic dried figs, red wine, balsamic vinegar of Modena, raisins, ground mustard, mustard seed.

Handmade in small batches using fresh non GMO ingredients, custom blended aromatics and artful attention to detail.
