Burgers
4 hamburger buns with sesame seeds
 1 ¼ lbs 80/20 ground beef
½ cup habanero cheese, shredded (you can use cheddar if you don't like it spicy)
 1 red tomato, sliced
 1 red onion, sliced
4 ripe pineapple slices, cored (or you can buy the pre-sliced canned pineapple)
 1 cup iceberg lettuce, shredded
½ tsp Olíva! Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil for brushing the burgers
1 tsp Olíva! Pineapple White Balsamic for drizzling over pineapple slices
 salt & pepper
Olive Wood Smoked Mayo
 3 tbsp mayonnaise
 salt & pepper
1

Separate your ground beef into quarters. Form the meat into burger patties and make the edges thicker than the middle of the patty. The burger will shrink during cooking!

2

Brush your patties with the ½ tsp of Olíva! Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil. Season generously with salt and pepper. Leave the burger patties out for about 30 minutes to bring closer to room temperature.

3

While your burgers come to room temperature, preheat your grill or skillet to medium heat.

4

Take your pineapple slices and drizzle 1 tsp. of Olíva! Pineapple White Balsamic over the slices. Let it marinate for a couple minutes.

5

Lets make the Olive Wood Smoked Mayo! Whisk the mayo, Olíva! Olive Wood Smoked Olive Oil, and the Olíva! Pineapple White Balsamic in a small bowl. Add salt and pepper. Done!

6

Grill your burgers on each side until desired doneness. Usually about 6 minutes per side depending how thick the burgers are. Add the cheese and let it melt!

7

Grill the pineapple slices to add a bit of smokiness and flavor. This should only take about 5 minutes.

8

Assemble your burger with the Olive Wood Smoked Mayo on the bottom bun, followed by shredded lettuce, the burger, grilled pineapple slices, and the tomato and onion!

Enjoy!
