Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Easy and delicious brussels sprouts! This makes a great side dish for any meal and is great reheated or served chilled the following day.
 12 oz brussels sprouts, halved
 a pinch of crushed red pepper
 salt & pepper

Preheat the oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, toss the brussels sprouts with 1-2 tbsp of Ginger & Black Garlic Olive Oil, season with red pepper flakes, salt and pepper, set aside.

In a large cast iron or oven safe pan, heat 1 tbsp Ginger & Black Garlic Olive Oil plus 1 tbsp of plain Ultra Premium EVOO for 1-2 minutes or until the oil starts to shimmer.

Place the brussels sprouts flat side down in the pan and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the bottoms start to brown.

Place the pan into the oven and roast until the sprouts are fully cooked, approximately 10-15 minutes. Shake the pan every 5 minutes to ensure even cooking on all sides.

Remove the pan from the oven and gently toss the brussels sprouts with 2 tbsp of Blackberry Ginger Dark Balsamic. Serve & enjoy!
